We are still in the research and development stage of the best and most innovative watering trough Stock Tank Heater for livestock ranchers. We have our patent pending and are now in finalizing stages of the system. In our lab freezer conditions, we have successfully tested a 30 gallon water trough stock tank at below freezing environment. The water temperature in our 30 gallon stock tank maintains a 40°-45° while the air temperature averaged 15° 24/7. We realize we are going to the extreme since most days of winter, even in extreme locations, the temperature does not stay below 20° for long, or if it does stay that low for a few days eventually the daytime will warm above freezing. Regardless, the system will always keep water in liquid state but may use more propane in extreme conditions.
